Casual clothing, it is important that drivers wear correct footwear on the day. We advise drivers to wear trainers which of standard width or thin soled shoes. Work Boots can often be too wide causing problems using the cars pedals. It is advisable to bring a jacket or warm clothing in the winter. All safety gear is supplied by LRS.
On arrival, drivers and guests will be shown to the briefing room and will register themselves with LRS. Drivers and guests are welcome to help themselves to refreshments. There is short briefing given by the instructor covering safety, day format, cars, techniques etc. The participants then move to the driving area with their instructor and the driving commences.
The instructor will be sat with the pupil at all times to give advice and tips and also for reasons of safety. Once driving has finished the participants will return to the briefing room for a debrief where the instructor will be on hand to give feedback on drivers performance for the day and answer any questions.
No. Our cars are fitted with adjustable drivers seats ensuring each driver can adopt the perfect driving position given their size or weight. The cars running on the day have varying sizes of seats, drivers will be able to try each seat then choose the most suitable to use for the days driving.
Guests and spectators are welcome at LRS for a £10 charge. We provide dedicated viewing areas for guests on our rally stages as well as a chance to attend the drivers rally briefing. Refreshments are provided throughout the day.

Yes, we have a long history of the team competing in major rally championships and we would accept nothing less than vehicles that are fully rally spec'd. All our vehicles are professionally built to full group 4 (Ford Escort RS2000's) or group N (Subaru Impreza WRX's) specification.
