LRS is pleased to offer rally co-driver tuition for all levels of experience of co-driving and navigation techniques with a co-driving ace. The importance of a good co driver must never be underestimated when a team is seeking to win events or special stages. The course is intended to cover essential topics, together with a large number of "Top Tips" and samples of paper work, check lists etc, stage procedures, communication.
Classroom tutorials, road navigation, stage navigation and pace notes. Vehicle provided for stage and road tuition.
One to One Motorsport Rally Co-Driver Tuition includes exclusive use of a vehicle and professional Motorsport UK Licensed instructor, specialising in all areas of competitive rally Co-Driver Coaching (Motorsport UK).
Being a good rally co-driver or rally navigator is 90% experience (and, by all accounts, 10% insanity). While there is no substitute for actually competing on events, it will still take a long time before you become expert in all areas of being a rally co-driver, a good solid background will pay dividends in a co drivers career.
If you are serious about rally co-driving and rally naviagtion, you need to find ways to gain experience. Learning to be a rally co-driver from a professional co-driver is obviously a very good way. You can learn skills by competing on local "road rally" events or marshalling, time-keeping or even just spectating on rallies, however pace-note systems and the advanced techniques required to be a successful team must be learnt on larger rallies which can prove very costly.
Although many of the rules and duties of a rally co-driver are clear-cut, a lot of the co-driver’s art is very personal and you may frequently find that different people will offer you conflicting advice. Sometimes you just have to try different things and find what works for you. Our course offers you bespoke 1 to 1 tuition with a pro co driver, this course is proven to massively boost performance in terms of stage times and event logistics and organisation.
